Chewy Lou Designs was founded by a woman who gained her inspiration for the line from her mother’s battle with breast cancer. The first shirt created for the line was “LIVE”, standing for Love, Imagine, Value, and Embrace. The founder is supplied with an endless source of optimism, inspiration, and unconditional love from her family, which is all reflected clearly in her clothing design. She also gains some of this from her two dogs, Chewbacca and Lexington, which is where the brand name came from. Chewy Lou even uses caricatures of these two dogs on their logo, which we think is just adorable. The hope of Chewy Lou Designs is to inspire positive thinking and promote both physical and spiritual strength. We think that this is demonstrated rather well in their clothing line.
